Dawn is a passionate and skilled ceramic artist, as well as the owner and designer behind her own pottery brand. Drawing on years of education, experience, and creative exploration, she has honed her craft into an art form that blends technical mastery with unique, personal expression.
Dawn's journey began in Picton, a picturesque town that nurtured her early artistic inclinations. Her connection to nature and the world around her deeply influences her work, which is characterized by a sense of organic form and tactile elegance.
Her formal education began with at OCAD in Toronto, where she developed a strong foundation in the arts. From there, she pursued further specialization in ceramics, earning a diploma Ceramics from Sheridan College in Oakville, ON.
Dawn's commitment to refining her skills led her to the University of Waterloo, where she earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA). Here, she delved deeper into the theory and practice of art, exploring new concepts, pushing boundaries, and gaining a deeper understanding of how ceramics can communicate both aesthetic beauty and personal narrative.
